Advanced reporting uses varied verbs (acknowledge, deny, imply, insist), noun patterns (the claim that…), and tense/discourse choice when the original source matters.

| Verb + object + that | She acknowledged that the plan had failed. |
| Reporting noun + that | There were claims that he had resigned. |
| Passive reporting | It was suggested that prices be frozen. (subjunctive) |
| Whether / if for uncertainty | He couldn’t say whether they would agree. |
In academic or legal English, reporting is often neutral: avoid over-claiming certainty.

“There were claims that …” is a formal pattern.

A passive pattern of reporting is common in news English.
“Acknowledge that” rəsmi etiraf bildirir.
“Acknowledge that” signals a formal admission.
